A woman who escapes an overwhelming reality into a world of nightmares, by eating the forbidden fruit of Paradise's Tree of Eternal Life; a very frustrated man, both in his professional and love life, whose serial killer dreams may become a reality; and an autobiographical documentary on the director's healing process of a terminal cancer. A film divided in three chapters: heaven, hell and the world.

Merely Known as Something Else tells the story of a man who disappeared one day and the three women entangled with him for different reasons, presented with meticulous emotion and a unique format.

While planning the eventual DVD release for "1991: The Year Punk Broke", Dave Markey cut a 40-minute film out of unused footage to create a companion piece to include. The film was also shown to a handful of lucky audiences before the DVD's eventual release in 2011. It's an awesome bonus with tons of great footage that could have easily been in the film. These songs were probably the best to leave out of the full-length film, since 2 were brand new and still quite shaky. The only tour staple not accounted for in either film is "Mary-Christ". Based on an excerpt from the novel by L.N.Tolstoy "War and Peace."The war of 1812. The defeated Napoleonic army is retreating. Three Russian soldiers settled in a snowy forest near a fire: a young (Zaletayev), an elderly and a middle-aged one. Zaletayev fantasizes — as if he had captured Napoleon. The soldiers laugh good-naturedly at him. After dinner, they fall asleep...Two Frenchmen go to the clearing — an officer and a soldier. Russian soldiers wake up and, seeing that the officer is barely standing on his feet from cold and hunger, take him to the colonel. The French soldier sits down to the fire. The Russians give him porridge and vodka. The soldier, encouraged, sings a french song. Zaletayev echoes him. A tired Frenchman falls asleep on Zaletayev’s shoulder. The soldiers carefully shelter him. “Also people,” an elderly soldier says with a sigh.

A film about the Bolshevik revolutionary S. A. Ter-Petrosyan, known as Kamo (1882-1922). 1905. Detectives and gendarmes are searching for Kamo on a courier train. None of them suspect that behind the mask of a dapper prince playing cards with a gendarmerie colonel lies a brave revolutionary. In a first-class compartment, Kamo is carrying dynamite for the rebellious workers. In Tiflis, portraits of Kamo are plastered on the walls of houses. A large reward is promised for his capture. However, nothing can stop the daredevil. Under the leadership of the Russian Bolshevik Vasily, he organizes a workers' militia and, together with it, performs a series of feats.
